The Ronin 4D is built for gimbal work, but when the job calls for locked-off shots, it wobbles. Relying on the lock pins alone introduces instability and risk, especially when using heavier cinema glass.

The Solution:

The 4D Headlock is a rigid rear bracket that connects the back of the Ronin 4D’s gimbal head to the Tilta top handle.

It stabilizes your camera for:

• Locked-off interviews
• VFX plate shots
• Handheld setups without gimbal bounce
• Larger lens payloads
• Critical scenes where camera movement must be zero

While the SEVENFOUR 4D Headlock is designed to provide additional stability for larger lens setups, we do not recommend exceeding a lens weight of 1kg. Exceeding this limit may place undue stress on the DJI Ronin 4D’s lens mount bayonet, potentially resulting in damage to the camera body. Use with heavier lenses is at the operator’s discretion and risk.
